I use expensive synthetic blend Golden Spectro 20w-50. Riding 124 miles a day I am trying to make the engine last as long as possible. I have heard many pros and cons so all I can tell you is my experience. I change the oil every 2500 miles. I now am closing in on 40 thousand miles. When I change my oil I look for metal flakes and crud and have found none. I my bike makes 60 or more thousand before a rebuild then I will be convinced that using the expensive synthetic was worth it. Ride safe
